Reductant Purge Control Valve Performance

The valve that controls the release of leftover emissions reduction fluid from the tank is not performing as designed, even though the electrical circuit appears functional. This system uses special fluid to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide emissions in diesel engines. Poor valve performance can cause the tank to not empty properly and may lead to system failure.
